Happiness is to climb a peak! But at the same moment when you win the top, you are thinking about the next peak you want to climb.
Happiness is to win a lotto! But at the same moment you take the money, you think about the next numbers you would write.
Happiness is to see a loved one! But in the same moment you see each other, you are negotiating for the next meeting.
From here arises the question: if happiness does not last, if happiness is only momentary, is it real happiness?
Happiness is not conquered, it can’t be bought neither borrowed, it is not the presence of others … Then what is happiness?
Our happiness, we often associate with other people, certain places or possessing things, but that only results with depending on them. It results with feeling poor, while having so much.
You can’t search for happiness, you already have it, you just need to realize it … How?
It is enough to be thankful and grateful. Meaning, inside out. For what?
I’m thankful and grateful that I exist,
I am grateful that I was given the opportunity to grasp this life,
I am grateful to the Sun that greets me every day allowing me to see all the colors of the day,
I am grateful to the Moon for the funny smile, which illuminates in the night, decorates the sky and stirs our emotions,
I am grateful to the air I breathe and every next breath passing through me, that keeps me alive, allowing me to climb further,
I am grateful to the plants that are contributing to our lives, curing our souls and bodies,
I am grateful to the water that is part of everything that exists,
I am grateful to the fire that changes the Sun and cleans our souls,
I am grateful to the sensory organs that enable me to see, hear, touch, taste, feel. To feel the feeling of being alive.
Now I realize, I have everything to be happy, I can say that I’m even ashamed of myself, fore I have been asking for so much of my life, not realizing, it is already inside me.
